Capitalism: A Love Story
Michael Moore’s documentaries are always interesting. Clearly he is presenting ideas in a certain way and they are VERY convincing if you just believe everything because it looks like he has found out all the government’s dirty little secrets, but I don’t believe EVERYTHING he says. I just enjoy his stuff because they present a critical view on things which no one would ever “want” you to see. And I think some of the INSANE stuff he shows does happen.

Also, my brother introduced me to The Ascent of Money.

It’s a book written by this Scottish guy (Niall Ferguson), a prof at Harvard and Oxford about how this economic crisis happened. His book was then turned into a PBS mini-series which you should DEFINITELY watch. It makes a lot of the recession-talk more comprehensible for the non-finance experts like me. (And Ferguson himself is the narrator so you get to listen to his fantastic Scottish accent;)
